Not mine, I'm done. But, a friend of mine has been getting divorced, Inthe process but not even at nisi stage. The financial settlement is in limbo which of course is separate from divorce and, her ex isn't acting on it. I think he appears to be stalling because he's 52 and has a DB pension so settlement would be substantial.
Can he take the lot out at 55 and move it somewhere she can't get it, then complete the divorce leaving her with nothing?
Is that possible with a DB type pension? You can definitely take cash as a DC type.
