Reporting a theft & GDPR

dimanche 23 janvier 2022

Oh how the internet makes things difficult. My son had his bag stolen from the back of his car. Twat left his door unlocked in two occasions. One on the ferry and another when he was “across the car park” whilst talking to his mates 20 meters away. We have tried to narrow down by asking Wightlung to have a look at their CCTV and see if they can see anything. They have refused without a police request due to “GDPR” so we tried the police. You can’t speak to anyone you are told to report on line. When you go online you have to have a postcode which you can’t for a boat. If you say it’s public transport they say report to British transport police who don’t cover ferries. A boat doesn’t have a post code. So round we go back to Shitelink. Basically no one will help we can’t speak to a human just computers, chat bots and voice systems. The humans we do speak to are in fear of GDPR !!!
