I thought it was bizarre when Montpellier gave Sakho a three year contract after the time he had with us. However, he has started 18 of their 22 games this season including all of their last 14 matches. Montpellier are 6th in the table, 1 point off 4th.
Does make me wonder if the problem with us was all injury based. It seemed odd when he got his last injury with us and then went off to Dubai never to be seen again.
