The wife and I always talk about the match after watching the latest game, and we have come to this conclusion time and time again.
How is it, that when we have a new player, example Sako, Mutch, Benteke, etc, that they always start of with their pants on fire, eager to impress no-doubt, and give us all 'hope', but only to as they get more into our training, their game style changes. They no longer run around like demented hungry players, but s-l-o-w down, and lose that attacking flair.
Their whole game seems to lose it's exciting go-go-go.. alright, I know we have our particular plan, but surly, let them play how they want to play a little bit..Another great example..Look how Dwight is setting everything on fire at Newcastle.. fantastic, we are soooo happy for him..
Many said he didn't have the Premier league skills.. that is bull... he is a good example of NOT, being given the opportunity to show it.. its no good putting him, or anybody on with a short time to go and expect miracles.. yea-yea, I know Connor is the exception, but in general it don't happen.. so, we killed his skill, and then off he goes to Newcastle, and plays like we all knew he can..
So, who's at fault...Alan... No, it goes deeper then that.. coaching staff..maybe.. players..yes, they have to accept that some of them at times play in a dream world..plus one or two are not our league material. So, to us , we are hoping that the next transfer window we can rid a lot of dead wood from the club, and get skilled players, with perhaps some new coaching staff. (new goalkeeper coach for a start, Jules old coach was great..why get rid of him) and KM is great, but------ time for a change?
