Short term manager would be a big mistake

samedi 26 novembre 2016

If we are a club that matches the ambition of the American owners then a short term panic appointment is not what we need.
Big Sam, Harry Redkanpp would be huge mistakes...they may have an initial impact but would lead this club on a longer path of ruin....Redknapp would insist on breaking the bank to solve the clubs problems and Allardyce would bring media baggage that would potentially undermine everything that he attempted to achieve.....apart from that they are not good managers.....
We are in trouble yes.....we have a manager who is deluded and misguided in his decision making and tactically inept and naive .....for these reasons the club needs to start again with its management structure........but at this moment in time we are not in the relegation zone and we do have good players.....if not good defenders.....so the panic button does not need to be pressed......
Chris Coleman may not be as impossible as some might think to encourage to give up the Wales job.......we wait to see the outcome of the Southgate situation...could be a surprise there.......Hughton is a very good manager......is there more to come from Karl Robinson after his MK Dons experience, what about Johnson at Bristol City...bright and original in his thinking and attention to detail with a good transfer record..........What I am saying is so called tried and trusted managers are not the answer.....they will demand long contracts based on reputation alone, they will lack hunger and will not take this club forward to the mid table PL club we need and aspire to be........
