I cannot yet prove a link, but here is warning to all BBS members who may use this website as a means of watching matches live.
Our bank rang up today and asked if we had paid £40 to Streamking, as they had somehow managed to get this through to my account. Although I have used them from time to time along with others on the Wiziwig site, I have never authorised any payment to them.
Also another payment on the account, this time £500 was from a casino betting site. Again, no way have I authorised anything to them.
Co-incidence that these two payments were made on the same day? I don't think so. Possibly I have picked up some malware using Streamking, but how the hell did they know the full number of my debit card and security number. Have I been well and truly hacked?
The bank is blocking the payments and issuing new cards, but is my computer permanently going to give them the new numbers again?
McFee says everything looks OK and no threats, so how was this scam done?
