Have a four week road trip planned in the US this summer. Land in New York, and need to head down to Raleigh at some point to see family, but wondered what people would recommend we see and do?
I was thinking of New York -> North Carolina -> Kentucky -> Indiana -> Chicago -> Ohio -> Pennsylvania -> New York
But was wondering if it would be better to head north of New York towards Vermont and the Canadian border instead?
