I up certain that this subject has been discussed on Palace forums before.
I was just reading that the Hull City Chairman Assem Allam, has now upped the ante, saying that he will not invest another penny into his club if he loses his appeal to change their name to Hull Tigers.
He is now saying that it is putting off new investors.
Is there ever a point reached where you allow your football club to change its name for a big investment ??? I honestly think NO !
What if a 'Man City type' investor came down to Selhurst Park, offering to buy the club, build a fantastic new stadium, invest multi millions into the playing squad, but.....
Wanted to re-brand our club with a new name ? Croydon Eagles, or South London Eagles , or...or...
My own personal point of view is...."Keep your money Sheikh, we are Crystal Palace"....
