Abuse on the internet to be outlawed - get your trolling in quick!

dimanche 19 octobre 2014

I've just read on the BBC News 24 ticker that the government is planning to make abusive messages and trolling on the internet punishable by up to 2 years in prison. If this happens then, instead of our current moderators with their famously light touch (always wondered about some them...) we will have the long arm of the filth knocking our doors down at 5am for saying naughty words.

So, I thought I'd provide a service to the BBS by providing a single thread where we can all vent our material which is knowingly false, and or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, bullying, hateful, harassing, racist, obscene, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability, or that does not yet, but soon might soon violate any local, state, national or international law or regulation in order to avoid this august institution from being robbed of its finest. Unless they have broadband in the nick, in which case who cares. Better off inside anyway.

You're welcome.
