Draw being held tonight in Amsterdam (5pm)
Format Changes:
The top three divisions will now all consist of 4 teams except for Division D where one will have three sides.
No World Cup 2022 spots will be gained via the Nations League but, two of the three UEFA Coefficient World Cup play-off spots can be obtained via the competition. The best two Nations League group winners who do not qualify for the World Cup or play-offs through normal qualifying will go into the 12-team World Cup play-offs in March 2022.
The previous relegation spots have been wiped because of the team size change mentioned above. But, will be in effect for this competition. Relegation is possible from Groups A, B & C. Promotion is possible from Groups B, C & D.
How The Draw Works:
Leagues A, B & C will be split into four pots of four nations, with one representative from each of the pot forming the group. League D does not follow the same format because it only has 7 nations, four in Pot A and three in Pot B.
