With the arrival of Hughes we now have nine midfielders:
Kouyate, Macca, Jairo, Luka, Hughes, Gallagher (all centre / CDM)
Olise, Eze, Schlupp (wide / attacking)
Based on how we line up, these players will be competing for three or four starting places. Appreciate that Eze is likely out until Christmas but this is a lot of options given that we currently only have two out and out strikers and one left back.
