So Leyton Orient Vs Spurs was postponed and the game has now, under Cup rules, been awarded to Tottenham as Orient were unable to play the fixture.
Orient are upset about this as they feel they have been punished for undertaking testing which was paid for by Spurs. It has been reported that 17 positive results came back.
Surely all clubs who are back playing matches should be regularly testing their players and staff? It seems unlikely that 17 of them became infected in the few days between their game with Mansfield and ahead of the Spurs game.
If the figure of 17, reported by the BBC is correct, it surely undermines the whole season? Surely all Mansfield staff and players will now need testing along with the referee etc?
