Roy Hodgson was there on Saturday, as he has been many games over the past season. Ray Lewington is also a regular, presumably because it is relatively close to their old stomping grounds. The trio of potential England players; Dann, Punch and Zaha all had great games. Unfortunately Hodgson had named his squad earlier in the week. Roll on this week and Stones pulls out the England squad . So what does Hodgson do? He calls up Andros Townsend and Kyle Walker. Townsend better than Zaha last weekend? Phil Jones,with his one premiership appearance this season, better than Dann? Dele Alli with his total of 4 all time premiership appearances and two U'21 caps, better than Puncheon? Maybe he was there on Saturday to watch Berahino. He was good wasn't he? I think next time Hodgson or Lewington roll up to get their complimentary tickets, it might be an idea to ask them exactly who they have their eyes on.
