What does Manchester United have to do with anything relevant in the world of club football ? Supported by kids, supported by people in developing countries (countries with zero football tradition) and supported by american women who think the offside rule is a parking restriction and responsible for the boring defensive dirge that now blights all football when the money or the stakes get too high. You know, Luton Town versus Grimsby would probably have more passion, enthusiasm, ambition and heroism ?
