Xbox one controller disconnecting

My controller has started randomly disconnecting. Sometimes removing the batteries and put them back works, if it doesn't I have to turn off the xbox meaning I lose game play....:veryangry

Goggled this and seems a problem with no real answer. If anyone has any tips for sorting I'd be most grateful.
