So folks it's that time again, we've had a good run since 1945 but it looks like the game is finally up! A failing global economy and weak political leadership has bought us to the brink of the deadliest conflict of all time. Will the talks in Minsk suceed in bringing about a ceasefire? perhaps, but it won't last without a full political and economic solution, which in my view is extremely difficult.
NATO's attempts to encircle and crush Russia (both economically and territorially) are self defeating and will probably ensure its own demise.
If the US starts arming the Ukraine then a long and protracted war in Eastern Europe is guaranteed. Diplomatic relations between Russia and the west will probably dissolve completely which will lead to who knows what.
