This sums are eye watering. How could anyone say that people with such wealth should not pay such a small extra amount? Indeed they should pay far more than 1% in my view.
It's incredible that we have a system, where even before covid, despite the huge advances in technology in the last ten years, that things have gone backwards and public services have been cut. How can that be possible?
We all know why, because the inequality is getting more and more obscene with huge increases in wealth for the super rich. Who have even got substantially richer during the time of covid.
