I don't have much of a problem with the men's picks, they seem reasonable for the time period covered. The issue I have is with the women's picks. There is no universe where Lucy Bronze is the best player in the world. She's not even the best defender on her (former) team, maybe even third bestt. I also don't understand the pick for women's GK. Unless they just picked players from Lyon, Endler and van Veenendaal are better than Bouhaddi. And van Veenendaal is only the previous winner and just led Holland to the World Cup final conceding only 3 goals and being named the GK of the tournament.
As for the Women's World11, I actually have an issue with the Americans. I realize that nothing has been happening for months but Heath did **** all at the World Cup and Rapinoe (luckily for her) only had a run of penalty kicks goals in the knockout rounds. If we're talking Americans, I'd have Lavelle, Ertz, Mewis, Dunn and Horan ahead of them. Not to mention a bunch of others worldwide.
