I tend to Jude people on here on their opinion on our transfer policy. Separating the fact that the Board do not want to spend much money the successes (since the dark days of Kebe and Maranje) have far outweighed the failures.
We continue to attract good players without paying out huge fees, (usually due to us being clever and looking for players whos contracts are running down). The savings that we are making here may allow for the longer term ground improvements and training facilities to get category A status for the Academy.
Overall I think that Dougie, Moody and their team are actually doing a decent job under the circumstances.
