Post Brexit Britain

I thought it would be appropriate to start a new thread on what is and will now be actually happening in a post Brexit Britain since Article 50 has been fulfilled, the withdrawal agreement passed in parliament, and we leave officially in a few days time.

The early days will be taken up with the negotiation of a free trade deal which Johnson is expecting to be concluded and passed before the end of this year. In tandem with this, our negotiators will be seeking pastures new in trade terms with other countries like the US and Australia, in addition to replacing existing deals with countries negotiated on our behalf by the EU, when we were members.

Here is an update on how it is going with one of our own commonwealth nations, Australia, who we had close trade relations with before we joined the common market back in the early 1970s. Don't be shocked, as it was always going to be a bit inevitable, and a consequence of wishful thinking:
