Yesterday we equalled our top flight league record of three consecutive clean sheets in a row. Quite an achievement when you consider the amount of disruption through injuries and suspensions we’ve had to the defence in those three matches.
For those who are interested; in the Premier League we have not conceded for three games only twice before; no surprise that it was under Allardyce and Pulis.
Coppell’s Div 1 sides in the early 90’s managed two runs of three games not conceding.
The only other time the club have managed it was under Bert Head in 1970.
No Palace team have ever gone four games in the league at the top table without conceding. I ain’t going to say it...
