Okay,someone said I needed one of these to watch tons more crap,I have a smart TV,why would I need this ?

I like the idea of not having all the hard work of pressing a button on a remote control but telling it what i want :D
As you can see when it comes to Tech I am useless,someone told me once I should not have a smart phone as its wasted.
