This is a serious question, and completely separate from the issue of the current dispute and the impact of any moves on existing season ticket holders - which is why I've started a new thread. And it is genuine question - no agenda on my part.
Has anyone actually checked the sightlines in the Lower Holmesdale. Say we ended up with a large singing - and therefore standing - section covering blocks D, E and F. Would people who wanted to sit and therefore had to occupy the outer blocks have clear sight lines to the opposite side of the pitch when play was near the Holmesdale end?
If the answer is yes - then fine. If no, then that's a pretty major flaw in the whole plan. Given what happened with the TV-required infrastructure changes when we were promoted and the completely unintended and unforeseen consequences they had for some fans, including the disabled area, it seems a reasonable question to me.
