Another thread to lighten the mood.
All inclusive this one - although probably not for the veggies.
It can be in an expensive/cheap restaurant, self-prepared as in the BBS's own Sunday Roast or Barbecue thread, at a Barbie etc..
I have a few that come to mind.
Restaurant must be La Brigada in Buenos Aires for a steak. Although, in Chile I have never been disappointed with Asado de Tira (strip roast apparantly) - bone in steak.
Cordero en Palo in Patagonia. Lamb barbecued slowly on a cross. Plus, lamb in a local's house (doubling as a secret restaurant) in Tenerife. A whole shoulder on my plate with a couple of carrots for about 10 quid.
Not really managed a fantastic experience at my own BBQs. But some very fine moreish fillet at a Barbie in BA, and a fantastic meaty pork ribs at someone's house in Santiago - had his own 'secret' butcher.
Years back we had a free restaurant for staff at Guardian Royal with a very good young chef. One pre Christmas he put on a meaty spread and the boar was quite the tastiest porky type dish I've ever had.
Also, a kind of sandwich hot pork speciality I had in Umbria, Italy. Name escapes me.
