The Belgian journalist on twitter who seemed to have all the best info on our pursuit of Christian Benteke says that his brother Jonathan, a free agent, is coming to Palace.
Damien Delaney Unhappy?
First I heard this, but Neil Ashton just said on NBC Sports that Delaney was upset that Dann was handed the captaincy instead of him, given that Delaney was here before Dann. May explain some of his critical comments in the media?
He also said that Puncheon is unhappy (and off course that Zaha wanted to leave for Spurs).
Finally, he said that Benteke wanted a raise to 150k a week to move here. Didn't indicate if he got what he wanted.

Humour: Phil Barber Free Transfer to anyone

Can't believe that after all this time that I'm the first to think of this.

Discussion: 16 out, 5 in
Is that the sign of a successful window? Yes we've brought in top quality players, but we're arguably worse off in terms of depth than last season, which is where we struggled. Madness really. Injuries anywhere in the squad and we're bang in trouble.
Poyet contract terminated?
Think I heard it correctly. SSN saying hammers have cancelled his contract?
What happened to make that occur? Injury, fallout, other issues? Lost track of him.

Discussion: Free agents
As it looks like we may not fill the 25. We could possibly look at bringing free agents in post window. Any suggestions?
Discussion: Total net spend this transfer window 7.06 million
So far spent = 49.73m
And sold = £42.67m
So net spend of £7.06 million
And sold = £42.67m
So net spend of £7.06 million
Are we really a strong team ?
So let's have some perspective in amongst the 32 million pound for a striker that seems to have had the majority staring into the sunset with their Rosie's on.
Gayle - benteke
Jedinak - ?
Bolasie - Townsend
Mandanda - McCarthy
Tomkins - hangeland
Remy - loan
Out of the above I only see the 'addition' to the current squad of remy which is a decent enough loan deal. Fair enough we have signed better players than the ones let go (imho) however where have we actually strengthened the squad ?.
What happens when our squad is called upon to help which I'm sure they will be.
The mighty Mutch ?
Captain Campbell ?
Our midfield looks like a relagation waiting to happen currently.
Am I the only one that thinks 1 or 2 decent squad players would go amiss ? We all know we don't have a plan b.

Heard from a reliable source that Grimaldo has been seen arriving at the training ground today, only obstacle though is wages. Thoughts on this? Could see him definitely giving souare a run for his position.
Audi Main Dealer Help
Afternoon all.
Last October my partner bough an 'approved used' Audi A3, it comes with a years warrantee and here in lies the problem.
Last Friday it developed a misfire when I was driving it. It had to be recovered so it was taken to our local Audi dealership.
They have just informed us today that one of the HT Leads has corroded and as this is an electrical item it doesn't come under the warantee. Now my issue here is that we bought the car on about 38,000 miles, when it was supposedly serviced, it now only had 45k on it, so I'm thinking that if it was serviced as they said, they would have noticed that the HT Lead was either knackered then or at least on it's way out?
I cannot check the Service History or any paper work of the car as the salesman gave us paperwork for the wrong car.
Anyone know where I stand? I seem to just be going back and forth not getting anywhere at the moment.

Rules are as follows
1 Every player has 200 points to bet with in the first round.
2 Each separate bet made is 10 points meaning players have 20 bets during the first 20 days. Maximum bet on a single market is 10 points, same rule applies for identical multis (basically no duplicate bets though you can do a team A, team B double on one bet and then add team C for a treble in another bet)
3 In the second round the 4* finalists all start by carrying forward 25% of their score from the first round added to the 150 points that can bet used in the second round. The person who qualifies for the final with the most points also gets an additional 10pt bet. (*if the number of participants gets to 16 or more, then a 5th finalist place will be added and then one more for every 5 players on top of that).
4 Betting Masters, first group stages runs from 0000 on the first of the month (standard UK time) to 2359hrs on the 20th of the month. Then the top four* posters come together in a mini league from there on until the end of the month.
Final bet settlement must occur before 2359 on the last day of the month.
5 Naturally the winner is the person with the highest score at the end of the last day of the month.
6 Scoring consists of total winnings and is inclusive of 10 point stake i.e. someone bets on a 6/4 horse and it wins their score becomes 25 (15 points profits plus the 10 pt stake) There is no score for any bets not used. Losing bets are scored as zero, not -10.
Any bet from an exchange bookie will have a 4% commission (on the winnings), if nothing else is explicitly stated in the post.
7 Players must quote where they're getting their prices.
8 Singles and upwards accepted.
9 For boxed multis and bets such as Yankees, each separate bet within the bet counts as separate and will cost 10pts per bet. e.g. ten trebles from five selections will use up 100 points.
10. E/W bets are counted as two bets in the masters, which means 10 points x 2
11. For tracking purposes, players are requested to put the outcome of their bets on the post for all events other than European soccer/tennis.
12. Where possible players are requested to put down a running total of their bets in their posts, although I'll also try and produce rolling league tables where possible.
13. After a bet has been posted up, one is not allowed to edit it..
14. The bets must be possible to do in real life, meaning for example that if you got a multi, all the odds have to come from 1 bookmaker. You cant shop around for the highest odds and put them together. "Special promotion" type bets are not allowed though BOG (Best Odds Guaranteed) are.
15. Bets must be placed at odds of 1/10 (or 1.1 in decimal) or higher
16. Any Draw No Bet bets where the result is a push will always have the bet settled as void, never 10pts. Any asian handicap bet where the result is a push (in full) will have the bet settled as void. Any asian handicap where half of the stake is returned will be marked down as 5pts with the remainder of the Asian handicap settled as a win or a loss (this is applicable for asian handicaps such as 2.25 or -2, -2.5 etc)
17. In the event that a player is not sure if their bet will finish in time, before midnight on the 20th or midnight for qualifying midnight on the final day of the month for the final, they can make a provisional bet or bets which then become actual bets only if their original selection(s) finishes at 12.01am or after

Tonight from 8pm we'll be broadcasting our normal countdown to the end of the transfer window. We've plenty to discuss with undoubtedly our best ever transfer window with more comings and goings almost guaranteed as the day goes on.
As is tradition, there will be plenty of cowbells but more excitingly, Steve Parish has agreed to join us as per every transfer window show we've done. Obviously given the day and how much work there is to do this is subject to change at short notice.
We also spent last night talking to Paddy McCarthy and we'll be playing this brilliant interview with him during tonights show.
Plenty to look forward to and we'll see you at 8pm :p
If anybody wants to come on the show live to offer your opinion please email us or PM us your phone number.

Loan: Keshi Anderson loan to Bolton (Boatang going out too)
According to Dom Fifield who has also said looks like Hiram Boatang going out on loan too
Discussion: Defensive Cover
Just a thought this wonderful F5 day.
We've only signed Tomkins and in terms of experienced defenders we only have 6 (7 if you include Fryers)
We're obviously going to tie up a midfielder today (Wilshere perhaps)
I for one would love another defender to complete the squad.
Perhaps someone like the versatlile Geoff Cameron of Stoke, or a late bid for Iorfa as one for the future.
With Bruno Martins Indi pitching in at Stoke- it's also said that Wollscheid is available.
Sakho can leave Liverpool on loan, but if we get Wilshere, that rules us out of course.
Anyone else that people would like?

Suggestion: Martins Indi
Not seen him play for a while but in the past was impressed with Bruno Martins-Indi.
Quick and can play LB or CB. He is apparently in England looking for a new club and is available for about £6m.
Anyone seen him play in the past 12 months?

Best transfer window ever
New credible proven keeper - Manadada - nice
New credible CB with huge potential - Tomkins - hmmm interesting yes please
New credible proven centre forward still with huge potential - **** YEAH!
New England International winger - Tidy, very tidy
On loan phenomenally adept goalscorer - WOW
Got a feeling there is one more in the offing to replace Jedi.
In reality (fees are at max both sides inc all add ons)
+=10m (Gayle) + 4m (Jedi) + 30m (yala pre add ons) = 44m in
-=32m (benteke pre add ons) + 1.5m (Steveeee) + 12m (Tomkins) + 13m (Townsend pre add ons) = 58.5m out
For 14.5m net spend i'm very please indeed. Yes wage bill will have increased but thats part and parcel of greater annual revenue earnings.
I think with so much change and disruption even with some done early in the window it is going to take a month or two for it all to gel and Pardew needs to make it clear to the squad that they need to fight for every single point until the perfect formation and 11 crystalise.
But the whole squad is being given opportunites from Chung & Mutch or Wickham and even earlier Hennessy - you cant say that any player isnt being given maximum opportunity to make themselves a place within the full strength first 11.
It's very easy to moan and those even suggesting Pardew out are ******* dumb as shit because when the squad realise quite how good we potentially now are and how lucky they are to be part of this journey ..... shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitttt its going to be a ******* ride!

The 25 2016/17
With the window closing tomorrow and the 25 man squad to be named on Thursday who will make ours up?
Looking at the up to date squad list thread there aren't many hard decisions as we don't have many senior players left.
Looks like:
Speroni
Hennessey
Mandanda
Ward
Souare
Kelly
Dann
Tomkins
Delaney
Cabaye
Puncheon
Lee
Mutch
McArthur
Ledley
Williams
Zaha
Townsend
Sako
Wickham
Benteke
Remy
Campbell
That's just 22. Leaves some scope for last minute deals without the debacle of Holloway.

Team/Formation
With the Remy signing, I'm a bit confused. What formation is AP going for? An old fashioned 442, or more of a 451 but with Remy as a dropped back striker?
If the team is as below, do we realistically need anyone else?
Mandy
Ward Dann Tomkins Pape
Wilf McArthur Cabaye Townsend
Remy
Benteke

Sky Sports transfer centre saying we're interested (along with a load of other Championship clubs). 21 year-old American winger. Would probably be one for the development squad.
Olympians and footballers
lundi 29 août 2016
Interesting comparison between how we celebrate Olympic heroes and how we sometimes despise footballers. The writer is suggesting - with good reason - that Olympians are revered, but footballers are often despised as lazy and overpaid ... and that the reasons for this are 'classist'. I think he makes his point well, without glossing over the ugly aspects of top level football. After all, how many of our medalists would ever be subject to the abuse dished out by some so-called 'supporters' on a typical match thread. Food for thought?

Plumber help please
My toilet cistern stopped filling tonight :(
It is one of those two button thingies, so I removed the top and looked inside. I worked out how to get to where the washer is and removed the top of it. Inside, just sticking through, was what looked like string. I pulled at it and, like a magician's trick, it just kept coming. It ended up about 12 inches long, I turned the little tap on and the water started flowing again.
Thing is, the stuff that came out really looked like string, it was even twisted like a helter skelter, but it just disintegrated when I squashed it between my fingers. I don't think, if it was string, it could have worked its way round the bends and through the tap.
I have recently fitted anti-limescale magnets to my main water pipe and have noticed limescale loosening in places. I was wondering if this could be limescale that's made itself into the shape of the inside of the pipe until it finally blocked it.
Have any plumbers come across this? Thanks.

Rumour: Wiltshire being offered out on loan allegedly
Sky sports reporting that Arsenal are prepared to let Wiltshire go on loan to a premiership team.

Just been announced arsenal are prepared to let him out on loan for first team action ? What do you think .
Rover eBay?
Hi just sold some bike wheels on eBay and I noticed the following on page links are not always working and seem to stick on something called rover eBay??? Any clue?
Suggestion: Tomas Rosicky
I know he's 35 and injury prone but could be the playmaker we're crying out for? Apparently back training with Arsenal to help recover with (you've guessed it) an injury. Some sort of pay-as-you-play deal could be the answer.
Rumour: Thomas Rincon
Apparently we have made €8m euro offer

New Interpretation of Laws
New interpretation of Laws
Several people were confused by Mike Dean giving a free-kick for offside against Benteke in our own half on Saturday. This was actually correct under the new clarifications of the laws instigated by David Elleray for FIFA this season.
The new interpretation is: A player in an offside position at the moment the ball is played or touched by a team-mate is only penalised on becoming involved in active play by touching the ball or by interfering with an opponent. Thus the offence is effectively being involved in active play from an offside position rather than merely being in an offside position. So if you return from an offside position to play the ball in your own half the free kick will now be taken in your half where you touched the ball. This change can also be used to gain an advantage by chasing long balls late in the game when you know you are offside to ensure that the free kick is taken where you touch the ball rather than near the halfway line.
Another small change to the offside law is that the arms and hands of both attackers and defenders (including goalkeepers) are not considered when deciding if a player is offside. Also the interference with an opponent now also includes if the ball is deflected back from the goalkeeper or goalpost and the interference allows another player to score.
Many of the laws have had subtle changes to the wording to clarify the current interpretations.
One of the more obvious changes is that kick offs can now be played in any direction but the ball must clearly move on all restarts including free kicks and corners.
Another area with major changes is on taking penalty kicks. The usual rules on infringements apply except for the following when play will be stopped and restarted with an indirect free kick regardless of whether or not a goal is scored:
a penalty kick is kicked backwards:
a team-mate of the identified kicker takes the kick; the referee cautions the player who took the kick
feinting to kick the ball once the kicker has completed the run-up (feinting in the run-up is permitted); the referee cautions the kicker.
Emphasis has also been made that the goalkeeper who infringes the Law causing a retake is cautioned.
Where a player commits an offence against an opponent within their own penalty area which denies an opponent an obvious goal-scoring opportunity and the referee awards a penalty kick, the offending player is cautioned unless:
It is a deliberate handball offence or
The offence is holding, pulling or pushing or
The offending player does not attempt to play the ball or there is no possibility for the player making the challenge to play the ball or
The offence is one which is punishable by a red card wherever it occurs on the field of play (e.g. serious foul play, violent conduct etc.)
In all the above circumstances the player is sent off. The penalty kick effectively restores the goal-scoring opportunity so the punishment for the player should be less strong (a YC) than when the offence is committed outside the penalty area.
Offences by or against substitutes or team officials who enter the field of play will be punished by a direct free kick or penalty kick.
An offence such as holding committed off the field of play whilst the ball is still in play will result in a free kick on the boundary line nearest to where the offence took place. This could result in a penalty if the offence takes place beyond the penalty area goal line.
Advantage should not be applied in situations involving serious foul play, violent conduct or a second cautionable offence unless there is a clear opportunity to score a goal. The referee must send off the player when the ball is next out of play but if the player plays the ball or challenges/interferes with an opponent, the referee will stop play, send off the player and restart with an indirect free kick. Clarifies that on the rare occasion that a referee plays advantage for a RC offence (only if a goal-scoring opportunity is imminent), if the RC player then becomes involved in play, the game must be stopped as it would be against fair play if the player scored, contributed to a goal or stopped the opponents scoring.
A direct free kick is awarded if a player impedes an opponent with contact. An indirect free kick is awarded if a player impedes the progress of an opponent without any contact being made. This is a change to the interpretation of obstruction and could well see players deliberately running into defenders in order to instigate the contact.
A throw-in must be thrown with both hands (one hand cannot be used as just for guidance). An opponent who unfairly distracts or impedes the thrower (including moving closer than 2m (2 yds) to the place where the throw-in is to be taken) is cautioned for unsporting behaviour and if the throw-in has been taken an indirect free kick is awarded.
If an opponent who is in the penalty area when a goal kick is taken touches or challenges for the ball before it has touched another player, the goal kick is retaken.
A defending player who leaves the field of play without the referees permission shall be considered to be on the goal line or touchline for the purposes of offside until the next stoppage in play or until the defending team has played the ball towards the halfway line and it is outside their penalty area. It is unfair that an injured defending player off the field plays everyone onside until play stops. The new wording defines the end of the phase of play when the defender is no longer considered to be on the field for the purposes of offside.

Quiz Time!!! Anyone know what this is?
I am an electrician and currently doing some work for a fellow BBS'r at a commercial unit he owns near Selhurst.
The tenant claims that this was left behind by us last week and I won't go into the full details but we think they are trying to get a discount off the amount they need to pay.
It's certainly not something I recognise as a Spark. Anyone recognise what it is so that we can go back to them and let them know that is was probably there before we started working.
Apologies it slightly out of focus, the tenant took the pictures. Nor my nicely manicured fingers!!!!

Any idea who will be away for International duties , I hope Benteke stays with us to build up fitness and McArthur , Ledley .
Suggestion: cristiano ronaldo? (suggestion)
i think this could be a good approach if we give it a go, coming near to the end of his career and he loves london, i think its worth a punt.
Plumbing Help - Weeping pipe end
Hi all,
Hope someone out there can help. My boiler has a pipe sticking up out of the top. It is not jointed; it just ends, and is covered in a thin layer of what looks like black waterproofing paint. This is now weeping, enough to cover the flat top of the boiler and drip down. It's not fast but unless I wipe the top of the boiler about 4 times a day, it drips enough for the floor to be wet and soggy.
I have stuck silicone sealer all over this pipe, which has slowed it down but not stopped it. Is there a waterproof paint or something I can buy that will seal the pipe end?
Thanks in advance.

Wingless Wonders
Like most people I have loved watching Wilf and Yannick and all our other wingers over the years and I desperately hope Wilf stays with us. But, whilst watching Bournemouth run rings around us in the first half yesterday without wingers I wondered if we are all too fixated on wingers. As far as I can tell no other Prem team uses 2 wingers regularly. Is it a unique Palace way of playing and, if so, is it still effective or has football changed so much that it's time to move on? Would we get as much pleasure from watching a pass and move team with a more dynamic and mobile midfield and overlapping wing backs? Or do we need to continually look for the next Yannick and Wilf?
Are You Being Served Remake
I'm watching this remake and I can't understand why they have done this. It's like a tribute act but why not just put the old series on again instead of some twat from Trollied trying to be Mr Humphries and Marleeeen's husband as Mr.Peacock.
Also, there was no black man in Grace Brothers. Get it right or don't bother for the sake of PC. Also, where is the Candy Davis tribute act?

Easy to spot from far away, two giveaways - ginger hair and a football shirt. Only complete ******* dumb asses wear synthetic shirts in the summer. Those were Geordies, guessing from the black and white striped shirts. Could have been from Nottingham perhaps. Enjoy your ******* stds you pricks.
Pep Guardiola - Is he really that good?
This might seem like a silly thread to start having just seen them win their third league game in a row but one I thought I would ask.
Guardiola seems to be the new poster boy of the Premier League. His tactics have been praised and are completely different to anything we have seen in this country before. However a few facts seem to get overlooked. Firstly, he presided over an amazing Barcelona team, but a team which had the greatest midfield in history plus a player who will go down as the greatest in history. At Bayern he achieved what was expected but never came too close to winning the Champions League with them. Against the best teams he struggled.
So far he has played the full backs as defensive midfielders, something that seems like an ingenious idea. However, this could be his undoing. At Bayern he was fortunate to have two highly adaptable players in this role - Lahm and Alaba. City do not have the luxury of having this type of player. It will be interesting to see how the other teams set up against them and how Pep responds.

French tourists
Whilst we're talking about other nationalities on holiday I'll give you a left field one.........the French.
Been coming to Spain for many years now and the nationality I've found the rudest are the French. But funny enough I'm sure they're only rude to the Brits.
In the final days of our holiday in Spain and they haven't disappointed........again. I'm sure when they realise you're English they start acting big b@ll@x around you. General rudeness, pushing in, dirty looks and deliberately holding you up. My all time favourite moment though are when the Spanish staff at the water parks pretend they can't understand a word they're saying and ask them to speak English as they make no attempt to speak Spanish. That really winds them up😂
Fwiw I must admit from what I've experienced the British are pretty well behaved. I'm sure it may be different in the 18-30 resorts. Also I generally find tourists from Germany or Germanic type countries such as Holland/Swiss very pleasant in this part of Spain.

Cheer up, there's a dog on the pitch!!
"Do you, like me, sometimes wonder why on earth people bring a fine-looking dog like that to a ground like this..?!"
Don't be rude, Brian. :D
Post videos of other things on the pitch, or something... make this thread worthy.

Penalty Taker
I've just read Pardew's interview after the Bournemouth game. Speaking about the penalty he says:
"I don't mind them fighting over who is going to take it, I always think it is a diffcult one with penalties to say to a specific penalty taker, unless they are regular, but we might look at that going forward. With the new rules around the holding and grabbing of shirts we could get some more penalties than normal so we will look to sort that out and but as for who is going to take it, I will leave that to the players."
As the manager of the team surely he should be delegating the job of taking a penalty to the player of his choice, and not let the players fight over who takes it. This is a professional football team, not a group of school kids having a kick around in the school playground!

Suggestion: Tammy Abraham
South London lad , only 18 , 6ft 3in , score's goals ,
Chelsea player on lone to Bristol City , no chance of him breaking through at Chelsea , we should definitely be keeping an eye on this lad

Fake tickets
Was in the box office yesterday and a guy came in who wasn't able to get in to the Arthur with his tickets which he had bought from an 'agent'. Turned out they were fakes. Fortunately for him they let him buy some real ones despite him not being a member. He was surprised how cheap the real ones are! I wonder how many people are buying dodgy tickets and how many real tickets are being sold by touts. Never thought I would see it happen at Selhurst.
Suggestion: Callum Chambers
Word for Arsenal is that Wengers happy for him to go out on loan for a year.
While I'm not a huge fan of loanees, potentially a good option to strengthen our full back cover?

Suggestion: Samir Nasri
Pep wants him out and will have to susidise his £120k per week wages. Besiktas rumoured to be interested.
We need a creative midfield player. Could be attracted back to London.
Worth a cheeky loan bid ? Low cost, low risk solution to bring more goals into the team.
Comments welcome  ;)

Suggestion: Harry Arter
We need a vicious bastard. He is a vicious bastard. But he can also play, as evident today and for Bournemouth's goal. I think Bournemouth would even sell if we offered the right deal, give Ritchie's sale to Newcastle.
Thoughts?

These lofted in, floated corners that we take constantly....
.......every single time, by Cabaye and Puncheon.
Why dont we actually curl/whip a few in.
Every single one seems predictable. Its obviously a Pardew tactic....
JUst remember...Newcastle went 102 games without scoring from a corner, with Pardew in charge.

The legend of Mike Dean
I know we all give our fair share of abuse to refs on this forum. But this ref has always been my favourite since that hillsborough game when he didn't let them take that corner. He always seems to do palace a favour when Reffing us as well.
He also seems to feature on this page which may make some of you laugh if you haven't seen it before

Rumour: Freddie Ladapo to Oldham Athletic - 6 month loan
Ladapo to Oldham for six months, option for another six. Presumably that actually means until January with an option to extend until the end of the season.

Support for Wilf Today
Slightly more positive thread as the first page of threads just seems to be filled with moany c##ts.
It was great to see the great support Wilf got today. The Zaha chant was deafening and he certainly noticed as I caught him looking towards the holmesdale on more than one occasion today. He was on fire today and it seemed like both him and the fans wanted to prove a point. Let's home some of the atmosphere and chants he got today make him realise he is best off here.

Wtf is with this nonsense tactic?
How can having 4'3" Puncheon in the penalty area possibly help defend?
Then on the rare occasion where we do actually manage to clear the ball, we then almost certainly lose possession and give up any chance of a counter attack.

The Talisman: Doing The Business
A lot of us said today was a must-win. We said at HT, AP has 45 minutes to sort it out. We tore Bournemouth to pieces in the 2H, but couldn't find the goal, until the captain did the job.
Did Dann's goal represent a turning point for Palace to start playing up to their potential, which most of us believe is mid-table. Or, was it just a nice moment, but really, we shouldn't expect it to mean much going forward?

Booing
Not trying to start WWIII but as bad as we were in the first half today, I can't for the life of me understand why, after just 17 minutes of action today, we had a number of people booing the team.
Can anyone tell me what they think this accomplishes ? It seems counterintuitive to me........how does booing help a team low on confidence to suddenly turn things around ?
I may well be old school but I have never understood why anyone would boo - by all means shout your disapproval if you want to vent your spleen but can we please NOT BOO ?

New offside law
Could have hone in GPD today but so everyone knows...
From this season free kicks for offside are taken from where the offence takes place. I.e. Where the player touches the ball and not where he runs from.
This means you can actually have a free kick against you in your own half!
Now you know :p

Block B Civil War
...or maybe 'Block B Twats'.
It was disappointing to hear some of the chants from the back of block B today.
'We want Pardew out' was started up midway through the second half, which, whilst I can understand people not wanting him here, is hardly helpful while the team is playing well and trying to equalise.
Then while the HF were singing down the front trying to get behind the team, we had the clowns at the back mocking them with 'there's only 10 of you singing'. Didn't realise supporting the team was a bad thing.
On a positive note, the twat on front of me about halfway down the block (who never ever sings) was slagging people off for chanting in support of the team. He left a minute before we equalised :)
I'm not sure what the point of this thread is now I've typed it all out. But it took me 5 minutes so I'm posting it anyway.

Discussion: Bolasie and Jedi need replacing
Townsend is a sako replacement not a Bolasie replacement.

Kelly on in the last minute
Second home game in a row Pardew's put on Kelly while down 1-0 in the dying minutes. Is it some sort of tribute act to Warnock's last game? :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:
Pardew has No Balls at least Holloway knew when to Quit
Two and half matches no goals only club not to score key players wanting to leave or left. When will the owners come to realise Pardew's lost the players and fans.

Cat looking for good home
My sister who has two cats already decided to give a home to a very pretty female cat who was in a cat rescue centre. She picked the cat up on Wednesday and had two days holiday to help the cat (Daisy) settle in.
Daisy is 5 years old and has been nuetered, has a micro chip and has also had her jabs. She is very affectionate and is good with people.
despite Daisy settling in OK her own two cats have not taken to her at all despite my sisters best efforts. Sadly my sister has decided Daisy will have to go back to thre rescue centre and is taking her back this afternoon.
There has been a lot of tears as both my sister and her husband have grown very fond of Daisy having first visited her in the rescue centre some weeks ago. She is desperate to find her a good home as Daisy has had a tough time in her short life
Daisy is well house trained and would make a wonderful pet and companion for somebody. Perhaps if you have recently lost a cat and are thinking about a new cat or dog Daisy is perfect for you (or if you know anybody who would like a cat etc)
If you are interested in giving a home to Daisy or know somebody who would provide a good home for her, p!ease PM me.
On behalf of Daisy and my sister thank you.

West Ham Home - wall of colour????
Just thinking out loud....with POTD gone due to tickets etc, what about a wall of colour and noise at selhurst starting against West Ham? Everyone to bring scarfs, flags, balloons, streamers, those old rackets, horns, whistles, drums, in all stands and not just a block in the homesdale..bit like wembley really.
Selhurst hasn't quite been the same as the first year back in the prem with expectations higher and the novelty starting to wear off.
Would be quite fitting against West ham who have just moved into another Emirates.
Also, I would suggest just keeping it all going the whole game and not that everyone just stops straight after kick off.
Everyone must have something in their hands (just not uniformed or club funded)

Suggestion: Marcus Rashford on loan?.
Quality quality player imo, can play all across the frontline and on left would give us balance. Playing wise mature beyond his years and a natural finisher add to fact he'd add competition to Zaha and maybe get him focused. Rather him on loan than Remy tbh.

Pre season shambles
Why is it that members of Team GB can go through all the physical, emotional and psychological demands of winning medals and then almost immediately are able to go back into strenuous competition only days later Eg Murray, Brownlee brothers etc etc.......but footballers who just happened to be in France during the euros have to miss the whole of pre season ???????
We are due to play for 3 crucial points tomorrow and will be without a number of key players all of whom have yet to play in our starting 11.....another example of Pampered footballers perhaps...............ask any ex player and they will tell you that missing a full pre season results in taking weeks to get anywhere near match fitness add to that that our back 5 having not yet played together more than a few minutes and our MF is still undecided and CB yet to start....all adds up to a shambles of a pre season

Tottenham are ***** - discuss
Previously they did it with Berahino and now with Zaha. I can't see that in either instance they had true desire to sign the player. They went in with low bids, leaked it to the press and have done nothing but unsettle the players.
That's before we remember the Bostock situation and their general ****tardishness.

Protesting in Putin's Russia - BBC documentary
I'm ready to go. If we don't want flair I want a break
I've supported the club through thick and thin. I've been a season ticket holder for 25 years. I sing. I've never booed a Palace player, whether I like them or not. But I am not going to continue going this season if Zaha goes. Neither will my girlfriend - her favourite player was Bolasie, and her second favourite is Zaha. She's a season ticket holder as well.
Sell Dann, Benteke, Mccarthur, Speroni, Townsend, Cabaye, Tomkins, Wickham, Puncheon etc. I don't care. Great as they all are technically. Superb Premiership players too. I don't care if they win 25 in a row. They are dull. They keep me sitting down. There's only one player who is worth the admission alone. His name is Wilf Zaha and I enjoy watching him whether he loses the ball, his cross floats into the Arthur Waite or flashes across into the main stand. Even if his shot is caught in the Upper Holmesdale I don't care. The key is he excites. He makes opposition players look stupid. He is Palace. He is one of the world's greatest at dribbling, a lost art. If he goes I am not going to start supporting Brighton. I am Palace through and through. But I will stop going this season. I won't be looking for a refund, our seats can just stay empty.
Unlike the greed league that the Premiershit has become, it's not about the money. It's about principle. Call it throwing the toys out of the pram, but if Benteke is worth 100k then Wilf is worth double. if we are not prepared to properly reward our greatest ever academy player for his years of entertainment let alone service then the club deserve to have empty seats in the stand. Serve up the superb Cronx beer and wonderful passing from keeper to striker. I don't care. As soon as Wilf has gone I will need a break. I hope others will feel the same. As for all my trolls - and don't worry there aren't many, I can only really name one - they can allow their hearts to be filled with excitement because I will have plenty of time to follow them back. I look forward to reading the match reports. All the best guys. Up the Palace.

West Ham Out Of Europe
West Ham have been knocked out of Europe after losing 1-0 at home to Astra.
How many players have been linked to them because of the chance of European Football.
Surely Palace would not have been so ham-fisted if they had qualified for Europe.

Sutton / Cheam Goals Team - Seeking Players
Hello everyone,
I remember starting a thread like this year's ago then it all imploded. However a few mates and I are looking to get back playing and play Sunday's at Goals SUTTON (North Cheam). We have the nucleus of a decent team, but could do with a few more players just to be sure we have at least 6 or 7 each week.
I have been playing for a team recently but left because I didn't see eye to eye with a couple of the players. Anyway some weeks we played with the bare 5 and it was a real chore. Apparently a new season is due to start in September, so if you are decent at football, fancy playing with a decent bunch of lads who want to win, and are reliable most of the time (I appreciate people do have plans from time to time, some weeks I will be working so cannot play etc), then please either get in contact on here or via PM.
Cheers everyone,
Jim.

Getting in to teaching
At the ripe old age of 42, I am going to be embarking into teaching. I wanted to know if anyone has any decent advice for me. I have worked in a school for almost 8 years, fulfilling various roles. I will be teaching science as I have a degree in chemistry (completed July 2014). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Song for Mandanda
Don't normally post anything like this, so I'm prepared to be shot down in flames, but I just started singing Mandanda to the tune of 500 miles by the Proclaimers.
Steve would save 500 shots
and Steve would save 500 more
Just to be the man to wear red and blue
at the famous Selhusrt Park
Man-dan-da Man-dan-da Man-dan-da Man-dan-da
dan-dan-dan-dan da da da da
Kind of think it works and would definitely get a lot of people singing.
Hides behind screen.....waiting for a shots to be fired.

In an attempt to distract myself from a constant refresh of transfer sources I thought I would take a look at the current state of play in terms of transfers, squad strength and potential formations. I'll start with the latter.
Over the past 3 seasons we have probably become one of the easiest teams to predict shape and game-plan for. We have largely been happy to sit deep and defend in numbers and then look to break out wide. Goals coming from those breaks and set pieces where we use aerial power. As everyone knows, and says, if you can stop the wingers then you have stopped Palace. This is largely because our CF is so isolated and TBH knackered from doing defensive covering that there is little chance that he will get chances. Up until now we haven't really had the players to do much else. The latter is fundamentally what I think Pardew is correcting with the squad, while raising the quality of the top 15 players.
Formations
Before looking at the squad personnel - formations. I think the intention is that we have the option to play 4 5 1 as now with touchline wingers, 4,4,1,1 (either narrow or wide versions), 4 3 3 but probably with one of the front 3 being a wide winger but who does get into the box.
The key difference I have convinced myself of is that we will see less of the 2 wide wingers every week and instead see one of them at least operating more narrowly. I don't think this is bad at all. Townsend can do both of these. I also think we are gearing up for 4 3 3 being a sensible option for us whereas with 2 very wide wingers it really hasn't been. Playing them narrower will either bolster midfield or get closer to the CF depending on the match. TBH without doing this we will either remain with an isolated and ineffective CF or we will get swamped in midfield if we only play 2 there to push in a second striker. Bit hurried but hope that makes sense.
Transfer business
SP has said several times that Pardew is very clear on what he wants and how he will play. So far he has sensibly addressed the spine of the team first - upgrading keeper, centre back, and striker. I still think there will be another midfield addition in the AM/CM slot to complete that - certainly hope so. I am an optimist I know but this looks like some really good business so far. The players we have brought in are all good pedigree and quality. It's a shame to see Yala and Jedi leave but we have done well to keep the former this long and it feels about right for both I think (best judged at the EOF season). Assuming there is more to come this really could be the best window.
Will stop that post there and look at the squad so far in the next.

Discussion: Replacing Bolasie?
Will we replace him or is Townsend the replacement? With about a week left of the window will we get in a player on the wing.
Pardew certainly alluded to in press conferences before Bolasie's departure that if he was sold he would be replaced.

Any suggestions as to who would be a good fit for us?

Seems a permanent deal to sporting broke down due to long term issues with his knee. However claims to be fit and has played for QPR who want him off the wage bill. Maybe we could loan him like WBA did as the Jedinak replacement which would hopefully leave some budget for the attacking options.

Who's right Hart or Pep?
It has amazed me that in an age of modern football where keepers are often employed as sweepers that Joe Hart who is an undoubted talented shot stopper has not worked on his footballing skills.
Even more bewildering that Hart has not spent the past few months (PG was announced months ago as the new manager) trying to improve this aspect of his game.........smacks a little of complacency.........
Time will tell whether PG tactics suit the PL but he has played this possession based game building from the back for years with almost unlimited success so shouldn't be a surprise he now wants to continue this way.
I have read all the criticism of PG in relation to how Hart has been treated but is that really justified? PG has said himself that Hart could become a very efective GK and that his football skills can get to the required level but the problem is that it will takes months and in the results driven world of the PL that is a luxury of time he does not have......
IMHO........unlike the Team GB athletes who work tirelessly at improving their personal performance levels with minimal gains crucial to prolonged success Joe Hart has not and therefore has no one to blame but himself........he has had years to work on the weak areas of his game and he has seemingly failed to do so.

Now I don't often do this and usually relish the abuse and labels of racism and so on that get heaped upon me but here is an example of something that I find abhorrent and that I feel strongly about.
I am all for being free to be rude, offensive, to take the piss and generally be contemptuously dismissive of Islamic attitudes towards women and what they expect them to wear whilst out in public. And I get why it is more than reasonable to expect women who choose to dress themselves in this fashion to have to comply with police requests to identify themselves but to ban such clothing, and then enforce it in this manner, achieves nothing positive.
And why I have nothing but despair in my heart when it comes to Frances future. I know there has been a lot of hyperbole around the entire 'clash of civilisations' narrative but this sort of event only seems to make that almost a foregone conclusion.

2-0 against a Sunday League side. We learnt nothing
Almost our best team and we struggled. What did we learn? Nothing! Why not stick Wickham and Benteke together? We have seen Mutch combined with everyone. Pardew missed a great opportunity to try something new. We didn't look much better than we did for the latter part of last season. We are great at slowing play down, we must practice it in training. Anybody else not satisfied with a pedestrian 2-0 win over the worst side we are likely to see at Selhurst?

Discussion: James McCarthy
This would be a GREAT signing. Played with Jimmy Mac at Wigan in PL. SSN Transfer Centre says not a fit with Koeman. Thoughts?
Is the club going backwards now?
After a few years of being 'on the up' has the tide turned do you think? That sense of still climbing has gone, hasn't it? And not just on the playing field.
Hundreds of millions of quid in turnover 2011-16 with more to come yet still no sign of any new stands at Selhurst. Don't come to the ground often these days but in fairness saw the club had managed something spectacular v WBA. £2 for a cup of tea.
The fans were magnificent. Pity one or two of them who really would have the other fans best interests at heart aren't on the board.
The spirit and direction we had is not as strong and we are now, seemingly, just another daft smallish club playing £100k a week wages in order to stave off the inevitable relegation back to The Championship sometime over the next five or six seasons.
Pity.

Off to join Caykur Rizespor in Turkey, along with Mathieu Flamini.
Quite a comedown from the Premierleague but I doubt any EPL club would've touched him after his time with us showed he had lost his magic, and more importantly desire.

DVD Regions
I am looking at buying a rather expensive set of DVDs from the US, and am concerned as to whether it would work on my DVD player.
I have an LG BP325, region 2, player, and I know that it wouldn't play anything region 1. But, the company I am buying from states:
Google does not seem to be my friend on this, as it seems all the responses are focussed on hacking it to allow you to play region 1 DVDs, which is not what I want to do (and they say can't be done anyway).
All I want to do is play a region 0 DVD, but can't seem to find a clear response either way.
Thanks in advance!

Dodgy email - Scam or something more worrying?
Hi all,
Just received an email through which has got me concerned, my immediate reaction was typical junk scam type deal and to delete/ignore it. However, something about it just seemed different and having read it through several times it looks worryingly real. It relates to choosing the company to rent a property.
The company is called 'Kingscrown Properties Limited' (which having checked it out looks legit) with all the information being displayed lining up perfectly with their official stuff including the contact details/email of the sender. I'm going to post the contents of the email in a second to provide more detail but as I say looks scarily legit as if someone has actually used my details to sign up to something.
It also includes 6 attachments that look like they could be genuine for this kind of agreement (I don't want to risk opening them mind) including:
- Letter.pdf
- Kingscrown Propterties Limited.doc
- TENANT HOW TO RENT.pdf
- tenant-guide-custodial.pdf
- terms-and-conditions-customer.pdf
- 4 1 park avenue.pdf
Now I know scams and fake emails, but this looks different. Thoughts/advice? Should I call the company to check or am I risking falling into a trap doing so?

Remembering Eaglette (Jo Filer) Walk 28th August
Dear Fellow Palace fans,
Dedicated Palace fan Joanne Filer passed away on the 25th August last year. She was 43. She left a beautiful son Alfie (5) who regularly get to games at Selhurst. As his father I have been a season ticket holder for 10 years also. As Eaglette Jo contributed on forums over the years and her true passion was Palace and her fantastic Boy. Jo's Brother Martin (Eagle Mart) sits in the lower Homesdale block C.
On Sunday 28th August I am walking with 8 friends from Selhurst Park to Tunbridge Wells on behalf of the Pickering Cancer drop in centre in Tunbridge Wells. We have raised some 2k thus far. this charity is a small organisation that helped Jo so much.
I was nervous about posting this link to stranger's but I guess we are all one big family. Its been a tough year with family and friends missing this fantastic, fun person. Any donations would be gratefully received.

Delaney losing his cool
Can't see this mentioned in a thread unless it is in the depths of the match thread. During the twitter commentary it was mentioned that Delaney was very animated when injured and the substitution was shown. Apparently shouting NO No to the bench. Watching the highlights he seems extremely agitated with some of the crowd who are likely getting on his back about the time taken to get off the field. Hobbling round however you can just about see his swing around to face one of the home supporters quite aggressively just before we give the masterclass on defending from set pieces (again).
Most probably nothing more than a couple of words and certainly not a Cantona moment. Hopefully nothing will come of it.

Rio 2016 ; an even playing ground?
dimanche 21 août 2016
For me the Best two weeks of the sporting year and brilliantly uplifting to see team GB win so many medals.....but I can't help thinking having banned Russia for attempting to create an uneven playing field through drug use are team GB any less guilty of creating unfair advantages?
All performers, coaches, fans want is sport with equal opportunities and the creation of an even playing field where talent and hard work has a equal chance to succeed.
Quite rightly the world of sport rejects state sponsored drug taking...the taking of performance ehhancing drugs allows for longer periods of training, quicker recovery time and in doing so creates unfair advantage.........additionally and controversially the issue of gender classification is currently in the middle of a two year reflection period therefore currently allowing athletes with above the 3% level of natural testosterone in the female body to compete in women's competition......causing concerns again to be raised as to equal playing fields.......so are the vast amount of millions of UK pounds of lottery funding available to UK sport and Team GB fair on our less wealthy competitors? Is our funding commitments creating level playing fields for our competitors? Team GB now has a set up of full time, fully paid athletes, fully paid coaches and numerous support staff ranging from nutritionalists, psychologists and sports scientists.....additionally we now have facilities the envy of the world......we have a network of world wide training camps again the envy of the world.....and as been said by numerous medal winners over the past two weeks .....our athletes arrive at the start line of competition better prepared that any other performers in the world........on one hand an unbelievable achievement and one to be rightly proud...but as we collectively condem state sponsored drug taking.....is state sponsored funding any less effective in creating uneven playing fields?

I was actually shocked by the PL goal count since Benteke's debut. Even with a season thrown away at Liverpool, only 4 players have scored more top-flight goals than Benteke since he debuted for Villa.
Then there's the number of aerial duels won, again in limited game time:
Aerial duels won in 2015/16
130 - Christian Benteke
117 - Connor Wickham, Dwight Gayle, Emmanuel Adebayor, Marouane Chamakh, Fraizer Campbell, Glenn Murray and Patrick Bamford combined
Something to be hopeful about, at the very least!

I've told him £700 he wants £1000, surely he can get something good in this range? I have no idea, any recommendations? Thnx in advance
Reliability and theft proof ( Kingston lock?) important, what about insurance if it gets nicked? Cheers

Suggestion: Yacine Brahimi
Linked last January after supposedly having a bid rejected, now Everton are making moves for him.
He is a quality player, and would be incredible for us. Plus how AMs do Everton needs seriously...
No over the top post for this one, time to get serious!

Quote:
19:39 EVERTON EYE BRAHIMI Staying with Everton and Sky sources have told us they have a strong interest in Porto midfielder Yacine Brahimi. We understand talks between the clubs have progressed well, but convincing the player to move is proving more problematic. Brahimi's preference is a move to England to a club playing in the Champions League. The Algerian has already rejected a big money offer from China and Porto left him out of their Champions League squad in midweek. |
Unfit Players
Can somebody explain why the like of Wayne who played every game but 1 at the euros is fit to play but the likes of cabaye and Mandanda who had one game between them are not ?
Completely mystifying.
Completely mystifying.
Rumour: Jonathan Kodjia

The Ivorian striker is very close to a deal with Crystal Palace.
Jonathan Kodjia was the big sensation of the English League 2 last season. Angers arrived with the title of best player 2015de Ligue 2, the native of Saint-Denis (France) was quickly noted. In a team of Bristol City very limited, the Ivorian particularly distinguished by multiplying the great benefits. In 42 tenure, he planted 19 goals; Bristol saving from relegation.
Unfortunately for the Red and White, they are about to lose their best player. Coveted on the transfer market, Kodjia would be close to a deal with Crystal Palace who sold his Congolese striker Yannick Bolasie Everton. The Ivory Coast international and Crystal leaders agreed on a four-year contract. But discussions are still very tense between the Premier League club Bristol City and has priced the striker to 25 million euros. A relatively high sum for a player who has never played in first division championship since his professional debut. Bristol had paid 3 million euros to acquire the new striker Elephants in Angers.

Suggestion: Jay Rodriguez
Apparently West Brom and Hull are keen on him, injury prone but a good player.
Any of this sound familiar?
I know a lot of people won't appreciate another Pardew thread, but here goes...
For some reason yesterday I remembered a post a Newcastle fan made on here when Pards joined us outlining about 10 negative things we could expect from him. At the time I was like, "yeah whatever, deluded Newcastle fan" but remembering some of the points he made, I bet if we read that post today much of it wouldn't be a million miles from the truth. I'm not gonna go trawling through old threads to find that post, but from a quick google search I chanced across a To view the link you have to Register or Login on a Newcastle blog which collated a lot of comments from West Ham, Charlton and Southampton fans criticising Pards, and I think it makes for interesting reading.
Bear in mind that many of these criticisms of his management - which sound awfully familiar to me - are going back as far as 10 years and 5 management jobs. The same mistakes repeated over and over?
I've bolded the most relevant points:
Pardew was an average manager who punched well above his weight for one year and we loved him for it. However when we were a known quantity he couldnt change tactics and thats was that
I wanted him out 2 seasons ago and have never wavered. He sneaked us into the prem with a squad that should have walked the Championship, had a good season although with only one plan, fast attack and was found out this season for not having a plan B. His summer signings were awful, no exception as he didnt sign Tevez. A lot of players have one good season and dissapear just like Pardew will. Lower league manager.
Shocking tactically. Seems oblivious to the problems that we all see in the stands. And then to come out and say we were unlucky. He is pushing it. Maybe he wants a nice little pay out ;-)
Hes lost me after last night. Was the worst Charlton performance I have seen in a long, long time. Tactically all wrong and no passion from the players."
I actually think the more serious problem is he seems not be able to motivate the team. If that continues we may have a very rocky season ahead, hold on your hats.
Im sorry, but I cant get past the fact that Luke Varney WAS winning the ball in the air and knocking it on to No-one. Surely that is Pardews thinking/plan.
OK, I was one of the first to say Id lost it with Pards, but that was after over a year in the job it was the New Years Day match v Colchester that was the final straw for me. By then I had heard enough of his b******t and was getting increasingly worried about his tactics and motivational ability.
Unfortunately, those worries have only been exarcerbated by the season to date. How long should we wait for these green shoots of improvement? My patience has run out, others is running out. Above all, what do the players really think? Some of them arent stupid, and if we feel he is all over the shop tactically, surely they are aware of that too and will lose (or maybe have lost) faith in him?
And Im not saying this to stir things up / create unrest. Im saying it because I care deeply about the future of our club and have huge sympathy for the board, who potentially have to face more tough decisions unless Pardew can miraculously conjure up a few wins on the spin and a formation that works.
He does not see the same game as anyone who I have read posting on here as his post match interview doesnt match one that most on here have witnessed themselves.
No shots on target unacceptable.
No passion within the team and failure to accept responsibility on the pitch.
Unable to pass to each other with any quality in the final third or to retain the ball for any length of time."
1. Has no tatical knowledge on a game of football
2. Gets the worst out of half decent players
3. Consistantly blames others when things arent going his way and NEVER takes any flack for himself
4. Brings in crap loan signings
5. Has helped ruin 15 years of hard work that the legend curbs put in
6. Dosent really have a likeablilty factor
7. TIME FOR HIM TO GO
8. TIME FOR HIM TO GO NOW
9. PARDEW OUT.
By the way, a warning to all Newcastle fans about Alan Pardew when things are going well for Pardew, they tend to go very well. But when the wheels come off, the man becomes somewhat powerless. It is not only his record at the Addicks that suggests this trend.
I think he has always been a chancer tactically, playing players out of position, especially in attack.
Tactically Pardew appeared naive, he would often get it wrong selection wise and we saw substitutions made before half time on more than one occasion and early double substitutions in the second half were commonplace. In hindsight we were too one dimensional and relied too much on Rickie Lambert who was in a purple patch of free kicks and penalties but rarely scored from total open play.
I was never a huge fan to be honest. I thought he never had a plan B. when he came, a charlton fan told me to watch out for bizarre subs. I remember away to Huddersfield early on when we went 2-1 down, he subbed a CB for a CB when we needed fresh attacking options. There was always something I didnt like about him and never really trusted him.
Having said that, Im grateful he signed Rickie and I must say thanks for a great day at Wembley.
This was then followed by a very poor pre-season and and very poor start to the season, with players looking unfit and unmotivated. Does this smack of good management?
Now of course you you go on just about any message board and find comments about the manager being crap, tactically naive etc, but many of these complaints are quite specific and almost exactly mirror our own. Like his bizarre substitutions, repeatedly having to change the lineup at halftime, no plan B, players played out of position, unfit players. This is all further evidence that Pards isn't the man to help us progress IMO, because he continues to repeat mistakes he's been making for 10 years. Perhaps a good indication of why he goes on these long winless runs at all of his clubs.

West ham London stadium
By looks of it away fans given good part of stadium pitch level not mile in the sky like newcastle ect.
3-5-2
Is Pards gearing us up for 3-5-2?
Wickham and Benteke up front. Souare is a natural wing back. I think Ward would need replacing though.

Apple MacBook Pro - Help!
Was copying off a DVD yesterday and the drive made a few noises, seemed to jam up, the machine then powered off.
Now it won't turn on at all.
Any ideas/help appreciated!

Benteke and Wickham as our first choice strikeforce
Pardew mentioned in his post match interview that Benteke will free up Wickham, who he thought had a good game. Can we see both playing, or do we think that a No10 will play behind one of them? If we do have both of them in the side we will need to get some quality crosses into the box. Who is going to cross from the right hand side?
Adidas trainer boxes
Completely random, but does anyone know where I might be able to get a few ?
I've started to put together a bit of a collection of Adidas Originals and threw away the boxes. Seeing them slung into the bottom of my wardrobe I'm starting to regret that and wouldn't mind trying to keep them in some sort of order.
Tried the Internet, eBay etc and no joy.
Cheers.

Stop the meltdown
Zaha is pony, pardew must go, welcome Steve Bruce, wickham is lazy, relegation thread, where is this player and that player, parish pull your socks up....
Are you guys crazy? You sound like a bunch of twelve year olds.
MacArthur will come back, cabaye to start, benteke to come in plus other new signings by the end of the month.
Weren't you all the same people applauding parish and co for not breaking the bank following admin?
I am all for discussion and opinion but there are people posting apocalypse bullshit on here, Twitter, Facebook....
Palace are known for our support no matter what....out of all what is happening, this is the most disappointing part of it right now
