Car experts some advice please.
Replaced my exhaust (not cat converter as well). Once fitted the emission waning light came on. So I took the car back to the garage (SMS) and they said
it was sensor problem and it could happen after an exhaust is changed.
They did something (maybe just refitted the sensor) and the light went out. However a couple of days later it came back on.
Is it right for SMS to tell me that this is possible and take no responsibility for rectifying it at their expense? I know I can simply leave it, and do nothing (after verifying that the emissions are fine) , but when I come to sell the car it would be nice not to have an apparent fault showing to a prospective buyer.
