What a day yesterday was, I ran the London Marathon in my target time of under 3.5 hours before heading straight to Wembley to watch a great performance.
The Marathon was the first of two events I am doing this year to raise money for two fantastic small South London charities - I am also doing a half ironman next month.
I am raising money for the Maypole Project in Bromley that helps kids with complex and often life threatening illnesses and supports their families and the South East Cancer Help Centre in Purley which is one of the most remarkable places I have ever been provide guidance and complementary therapies for those with cancer.
Because of the size of the charities most of what I raise will be spent on the front line and if anyone can spare any pennies I'd be incredibly grateful and apologies for the grovelling nature of the message!
