Normally, I issue a terse/comical reply.
However, I have just found a much better way of dealing with them. I have just picked up a call from a foreign call centre, and left the phone off-the-hook on my desk.
After 10 minutes I get an automated message asking me to hang-up, but I ignore this.
So, am I correct in the assumptions that, :
1. Answering the call and keeping the line open prevents the caller from making further outgoing calls ?
2. It runs-up their phone bill ?
the messages asking me to hang-up have stopped, but the call is still on-going :D
(I realise I am also blocking other incoming calls to me, but it seems worth it)
