Rumour: Crystal Palace draw up list of targets in keeper search

Instead, Palace are ready to do battle with Everton to land England squad goalkeeper Tom Heaton, who is currently starring for Championship side Burnley The one time Manchester United trainee has impressed hugely at Turf Moor in recent seasons, but despite a huge desire to help Sean Dyche’s men back to the Premier League, as he is captain – he would find the lure of a move to the top-flight difficult to resist. Palace are ready to make a move for him in January, but the Eagles are not the only suitors for the 29-year-old with Everton also keen on refreshing their goalkeeping department, with American veteran Tim Howard looking far from secure between the posts this season.
