I'm having bit of a mare and need some advice/help. I'm a technophobe.
I have a Lenovo Laptop that I want to plug into my TV via a VGA cable but it just doesn't work and I cant work out why.
I have chosen the 'duplicate' screen setting on my laptop.
VGA is plugged in.
Laptop recognises that VGA is plugged in as it beeps.
TV is on PC setting.
TV says when I plug VGA into it that there is no source.
Strange thing is that when I plug an old 15 year old desktop into the tv, I have no problems at all.
My laptop is only 8 months old and should be all singing all dancing.
I read that it could be the video card in the laptop? If so, what does this mean and how do I fix it?
Ta!
