CPFC Disabled Supporters Association (Mods Please Pin This Thread)

jeudi 2 juillet 2015

Today 20 disabled Palace fans including myself were at Selhurst Park attending a disabled fans forum where we expressed our views to various club officials on the way forward to address issues raised over improving the matchday experience for disabled fans attending Palace home and away matches.

Following this question and answer session which lasted 2 hours we were then given a slideshow presentation by a disabled work group LPF (Level Playing Field) as the club are keen for Palace fans to set up an independent Disabled Supporters Association like many other clubs have done.

Ten of the disabled attendees at today's meeting are prepared to be part of the Steering Committee of the CPFC DSA.

We estimate that there are over 400 disabled Palace fans that attend matches with various disabilities and the CPFC DSA Steering Committee will be made up of fans experiencing a cross-section of disabilities to cover a wide spectrum.

Today's meeting went very well and it was a historic day for Crystal Palace's
disabled supporters with the formation of the CPFC DSA an independent voice for the disabled fans of Crystal Palace FC.

What impressed me was the positivity of the club to ensure that disabled fans attending Palace matches can enjoy the experience with minimal issues.

Disabled fans and their helpers this is your thread to let the CPFC DSA know the good and bad of your matchday experiences so that we can liaise with the club.

Any help or suggestions is appreciated
