Historically I've always been a terrier man and fed them all on a raw meat and bones diet.
On Tuesday I collect a new addition to the family, an ESS bitch - over 70 FTCH in her 5g pedigree - who will be brought up as a working dog.
Apparently the raw meat diet has been superseded by the BARF diet which is bones and raw food.
Any advice from our dog owners would be appreciated.
Is canned food still crap? Are most kibble's still wheat based? Is BARF good in your opinion?
(She will arrive being used to Beta Puppy Lamb but we will wean her off a cereal diet asap)
