Last year the attraction of playing in the Premier league regularly was probably our biggest carrot to bring in players, realistically our signings (perhaps forgetting Jan to a degree) were I expect ones no fellow Prem team, perhaps bar the promoted ones, targeted by hence we were able to get them. Correct me if I'm bring :)
Having finished 11th, With Tony at the helm and going into our second season you would like to think we have become a more attractive option to players to the point we can compete with 'some' other Premiership clubs.
Of course there is always a variable, a hometown boyhood club for example offering a dream move to someone or a team desperate for a player that they will rip up their budgets to get them. The question is though, realistically speaking who are we now able to compete with when in transfer dealings?
Which clubs would you see us beating in a deal and which clubs would edge us out right now from your view?
For me Leicester is an interesting one as they have financial clout and are likely to offer more money but surely based on our positioning that could make a player see us as a better bet...
