Sydney eagles game day experience

I'm in a place called Alexandria,Virginia in the US. I found a random pub showing the game 90 mins before KO. I was wearing the away sash and so all the Americans were asking me about palace before the game. They all cheered Palace on during the game , were interested (genuinely) about us and when Gayle scored our third the whole pub erupted. It was mental watching a bunch of people with no connection to palace celebrate our result just because of one palace supporter in their pub. The bar girl then shouted me a beer then all the yanks did too and they all said what an amazing club we had.
