Who on here is involved in gras roots football as a player, coach etc?
I manager now ladies football team, its the team's first season in the adult league. I started managing the team when my daughters joined when they were 10. We have gone from 7 a side, to 9 to 11. We won the league a couple of times and a cup along the way. The core of the team is the same so all 17 turning 18 with about 5 older players thrown in. The younger players are now finding out that the older players they are coming up against may not be as fast but are alot smarter and know the game better.
I am a FA level 1 coach.
