Can anyone explain this.
Got two identical iphones on my BT contract eighteen months ago, one for me and my wife. They have been working fine with no issues. We have a poor indoors signal from BT data service and so we rely on WiFi calling via our BT router in the house. This has been working fine too over the period. Yesterday, something went wrong and we could not make any outgoing calls inside the house using both iphones. The "WiFI Calling" text in the top left hand corner of the screen disappeared. Mine first, then my wife's a couple of minutes later.
I tried all the usual methods to get it back, like re-booting the phone and router, checking the settings, a complete reset, but to no avail, and I still couldn't get that service. I thought I would try ejecting the SIM card this morning and replace to see if that made a difference. Anyway, I didn't have to, as wifi calling had mysteriously returned on both phones spontaneously. How could this have happened, and does anyone have any clues?
