Any Palace in (or near) Alicante?

I'm in Alicante for a conference from the 12th-16th June.

Was wondering if any of the Palace Spanish contingent was in the area or had any recommendations for bars/food.

I'm free on Sunday 12th, if anyone fancies meeting up for a beer.
