Ethical supermarket shopping

lundi 18 janvier 2021

I just saw some data on supermarket prices and how Lidl was the cheapest and Waitrose the most expensive and they brought up free range eggs at £1.27 vrs £2.47
Now I happen to know, as my son did some certification work for MAFF, that although both are claimed free range the environments are worlds apart. The density is double and the access to the outside requires a trek over all your crammed in mates to the one door with a scratch yard.
So my point is are we simply encouraging a race to the bottom whilst chasing price?
