Jose Mourinho could reportedly hand Edin Dzeko  a return to the Premier League.

According to the Mirror, Mourinho wants to bring in another out-and-out striker who can help lighten the load, as well as providing a feasible alternative to the England captain when he is injured.

Having joined the club in the summer of 2015, Dzeko has been virtually an ever-present for the club ever since – the Bosnia & Herzegovina international currently sits seventh in the club’s all-time leading scorers chart, and is on the verge of passing 100 goals for the club.

In his time with the Giallorossi he has finished Serie A top goalscorer (2016-17), while his finishes were integral to the club’s run to the semi-finals of the Champions League in 2018.

The Bosnian star is a great player for his ability to play everywhere on the pitch helping his teammates in the offensive phase.

“He is one of the tops [strikers] in the world. He is both a number 9 and 10. He is not a player who only stays in the center but he moves all over the pitch,” Gianluca Mancini said to the fans today.

According to rumors, the new AS Roma home kit for the 2020-21 season will be inspired by the iconic shirt worn by AS Roma during the 1979-80 season.
