Adults/OAPs using Children’s season tickets

Does anybody know what we need to do now if we want to use a Child’s ST for an adult?

I want to use my kids ST for my dad (OAP) tomorrow, this never used to be an issue but I’ve seen various messages saying I now need to upgrade it? I’ve emailed the box office but got no response...
