A movie short is defined on Wikipedia as "A short film is any motion picture not long enough to be considered a feature film. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences defines a short film as "an original motion picture that has a running time of 40 minutes or less, including all credits"."
Many famous directors have started outmking the shorts (Spielberg, JJ Abrams etc) andsome of them are visualy striking, tightly scripted and make great use of their short running time.
They have popped up from time to time on the You Tube thread but, I thought a dedicated thread might throw up some interesting stuff...also it will make a change from "Things..." threads and the political garbage we´re having to wade through at the moment. :D
So here are two to start us with, the first is called "Snow Steam Iron" and was directed by Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen, Justice League...) and filmed completely using iPhone 7´s.
The second is a great bit of fun for comic book fans and features Thomas Jane as the Punisher and is called "Dirty Laundry"
