I’ve just looked at figures and 40% of the global population are designated as free, 25% partly free and 35% as not free.
I’d take issue with the USA being free given elections cannot be won without billions of pounds but that aside, to those who support capitalism is this as good as it gets?
There’s been barely any improvements in 25 years.
This isn’t about going off on one about how other systems are worse, is this, along with wars, mass inequality and huge amounts of poverty the pinnacle of human development?
