Being an old Directors Box season ticket holder of many years standing ( who declined to renew due to the exorbitant price increase ) I recently attended a match as a guest in the re-vamped Malcolm Alison Lounge. The new "matchday experience " is quite frankly appalling and far worse than dare I say it corporate hospitality at places like Millwall who are 2 divisions lower. For you £1600 a year there are on average 1 seat for every 5 guests in the lounge itself as most of the area has been taken over for diners -- who sit in a special roped off area - although due to inadequate demand for dining most of the space is unused. If you do manage to find a seat in the lounge section some old dragon then comes along and asks you to vacate the seat for someone else who in her opinion is more deserving of it.Throw in the overpriced beers and lack of any food ( unless pre-ordered in the roped off area ) and the whole matchday experience was an embarrassment for a premier league club.If Parish thinks that this is an improvement on what it was like before he is deluded.
