Long shot but anyone got a BT TV box and solved this one already?
Do you know if there is a way to change channels etc. remotely without using the infra red remote while watching it?
I think that there is an App that allows you to set a timed recording on the BT box (which I think is a Youview box?) but I can't see anything obvious that allows me to change the channels on the box while I am watching it other than the remote control.
The reason I ask is that I want to put the box behind the wall (when it arrives) the TV is on, with my other sources. I can control everything else at the moment via an app and would prefer not to use one of those infra red transmitter thingies if I can help it. However if the box simply doesn't have that IP/App access then I will have to give in.
I am kind of hoping someone on here has already been there and sorted it ahead of me. Just making sure my FA CUP semi-final access is locked down nicely :)
