If certain people on here can rise above the specific reasons for some of the current boycotts and look at what is happening to our rights.
Under this legislation an elected local council or student body cannot boycott services or products unless it is in line with the Westminster government policy. A simple example, if this was 30 years ago boycotts of South African products and apartheid would not be legal by Student Unions and elected public bodies.
