we have all seen the footage of Footballers out partying on the town. Especially after a big win or the end of season, the who would begrudge them letting their hair down. Even Ventola, Andy Johnson and Iain Dowie may have let their hair down on occasion. :hi:
Anyway, long gone are the days of George Best and Gazza publicly on the lash and indifferent to who sees or photographs them. If players have been drinking, we often only learn after they got caught drink driving. Of course the significant number of Muslim players do not drink alcohol. Beckham, among many others, is famously teetotal.
Different managers have differing attitudes to booze. Some are puritanical, others encourage a team bonding session on the odd special occasion. Some like tipple themselves while other managers overindulge.
