Bit of a weird one this. We've been given several boxes of food (and some cleaning products) by my partner's ex, via the kids.
It's pretty unusual - he's not renowned for his random acts of kindness.
The food is all from differing supermarket brands and is marked on the top with the expiry dates, in marker pen.
My other half has had the thought that they may have come from a food bank and if this is the case, we'd obviously like to give it back. Wherever it's from, we will probably just donate it to the local one in any case.
Does anyone have any experience of food banks - do they mark the food like this?
Is it possible that he's been going to one and getting random selections of food and over time this is all the stuff he doesn't want?
