It seems to me that we are in danger of breaking up the spine of what made us successful for s significant period of time base on a purple patch under Pardew.

It seem Jedinak is by no means certain of a place next season, and has been poor for Pardew
Chamakh appears nowhere near the side.
I am not scaremongering, but it is a dangerous game if you try to change a side too much, too quickly.
You can tell a lot about a team by it’s spine, and we have performed at our best in the top flight when our spine has been solid. Should we break this up too quickly, I fear we could have a tough season next year.
