Steve Parish harps on about the fans having this small club mentality - but it's absolutely clear Steve you are the one with no ambition.
Adding 3-4 players ....... £1.5m Fryers, £5m McArthur (both with add ons granted) for a total spend of £6.5m when we were led to believe it would be closer to £25m. We are in our 2nd season in the Premiership having spent peanuts in relative terms the first year. So we were told the quality signings would be this year - would that be £900k Campbell or Freebie Hangeland?
Look at our rivals - investing some of the huge funds the premiership provides - but we appear to be a budget, Penny pinching club whose previous manager - the premiership manager of the year knew it - hence why he bailed as he probably had ambition.
Just stop lying to us..... You have no ambition but please therefore, don't appeal for us to expect anything other than relegation as you get what you pay for Steve!
The CPFC2010 lovers will always blindly back them but others who aren't sheep I'm sure will recognise what a farce of a summer we have had in the transfer market and that can only be the fault of where the buck stops - the top!!!
