We know that Pulis has said we owe it to the other teams in the League to play every game as though it means something, and we know every place in this division is worth about £1m.
Therefore the only way that we can experiment, play some of the younger/fringe players at Fulham is if it means nothing to anyone.
A draw on Monday night would mean we are guaranteed to finish 11th, Fulham would already be down and so our game would be a complete dead rubber.
Surely in those circumstances we might see some changes, Hennessey in goal, a couple of the younger players getting a chance, Gayle getting his chance etc. Of course a draw on Monday is going to be tough.
